NYC Bhangra Dance Company is proud to present 6th Annual Holi Hai festival on May 2nd, 2015. Holi Hai is an outdoor festival that takes place in the heart of Manhattan at the United Nations Plaza (47th st & 2nd Ave) in New York City. The festival draws together a diverse community of people to enjoy the tradition and cultural heritage of mainland India with cultural performances, live music & food.
All nationalities and ethnicities are encouraged to participate! Make sure to wear white because this party gets colorful. The colored powders used in Holi represent happiness, love, and the freedom to live vibrantly. Take the opportunity to cover yourself and your friends in colorful powders and dance your heart out. Enjoy musical performances, delicious food, and an afternoon of messy, free fun!
The festival is free admission and attracted over 8,000 people in 2014. Over 80 Volunteers helped NYC Bhangra in bringing this joyful festival of colors to New York City.
